We are hiring a UX Writer into the growth team to own those words. This is a conversion-focused writing role, not a product documentation one. You will write and test the copy across our website, landing pages, lifecycle email, paid campaigns, pricing pages and upgrade flows, and you will be measured on what the copy does to the numbers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the copy across all growth surfaces: homepage, product and feature pages, campaign landing pages, pricing page, comparison pages, and the signup and upgrade flows.
- Write lifecycle and marketing email: onboarding sequences, activation nudges, trial and upgrade prompts, win-back, feature announcements and newsletters.
- Write ad and social copy for paid campaigns across Google, Meta and LinkedIn, and keep iterating on the variants that perform.
- Build campaign and partner landing pages with design and performance marketing, and ship them without waiting on engineering.
- Run copy experiments and own the test backlog for words: headlines, value propositions, CTAs, form length, pricing framing, social proof placement.
- Turn privacy and compliance language into benefit-led copy a small business owner understands in one read.
- Keep the message consistent across the funnel, from ad to landing page to onboarding email, and maintain the messaging and voice guidelines the rest of the team writes against.
- Write the in-product growth surfaces: upgrade prompts, plan limits, paywalls and activation nudges, with product and design.
- Work with SEO and content so that pages rank and convert, rather than one at the expense of the other.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years writing conversion-focused copy for a digital product across websites, landing pages, email or paid campaigns.
- A portfolio with outcomes attached: what you wrote, what it replaced, and what happened to the metric.
- Hands-on experience running A/B tests on copy, and the honesty to report a flat result as flat.
- Working knowledge of an email or lifecycle platform such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Klaviyo or Braze.
- Comfort in a CMS or page builder such as WordPress, Webflow or Unbounce.
- Understanding of SEO & GEO fundamentals and how they shape, and sometimes constrain, conversion copy.
- Comfort working in Figma, Claude Design, Chat GPT Codex alongside designers.
- Fluent, precise English with an ear for tone, and the discipline to cut.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience writing for a B2B SaaS product with a freemium or free-trial motion.
- Familiarity with privacy, compliance, fintech or another regulated category.
- Experience writing for a global, largely non-native-English audience.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
